Coming August 21-22 〰️
Find your place in God’s mission.
God is doing some amazing things here in Ohio. As our state motto goes, “All things are possible with God”. Our passion is Jesus and our desire is to connect young adults to His mission. The mission of God is to make Himself known and expose all imposters for what they are. We believe in a holistic application to the good news and God is calling us to pursue His mission in our life in specific areas. We do this by connecting young adults with leaders who can guide them into that specific arena and share what is out there for them. We also resource young adult pastors in their local vision and highlight what is going on regionally throughout the state. No matter where God leads us our heart is similar to Isaiah saying “Here I am. Send Me.”
“Here am I. Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8)

The Need for Young Adult Ministry
This season is where we are making huge decisions about Faith, Marriage, Career path, where to live, etc.
“Young adulthood is a stage, not an age, that really begins in high school,”- Josh Wellborn
The statistic from studies done between years 2007 – 2021 from Barna Group, Fuller Seminary, USA Today, and Life way Research found in their studies depending on their test group that a range from 66% - 80%. Over our time in Young Adults ministry we share the phrase “Change 80” as a mission to change the statistic. The resilient (those who stayed in the faith) were the ones who understood how this faith is to impact the world around them and they understood how the Bible is the infallible guide for this life they are embarking on.
According to the article from Barna Group shares,
“The data points to a future where the vitality of the Church may hinge on how well leaders engage the spiritual curiosity and commitments of younger adults.” - Barna Group
We are making dent, and we are believing that as we reach this demographic we will see less leaving and more staying. This is why I believe in establishing deep youth ministry on the front end and a creating a steadfast young adults ministry during the season. Doug Clay the super intendant of the AG USA on the creation of a national young adults branch said,
“Having a national Young Adult Ministries department is more than an organizational strategy – it’s a statement of value.” - Doug Clay
The tide is turning and focusing on Young Adults is happening. These are our future families and Parents of the future generation. They will play and are playing a vital role in our churches.
